My BFF and I drove to Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, to experience the solar eclipse in the totality zone. I was SO excited -- seeing one has been on my bucket list for decades!
A takeout container lid provided an impromptu double-pinhole camera, to make viewing eclipse stages easier on the eyes and neck (and to protect the sensor on my smartphone camera from sun damage!). I projected the light onto the only sizeable piece of paper I had with me: a cardstock offcut in bright yellow. :D
