For fairness reasons (i.e. to give all students a level playing field), we will be using TurnItIn.com for detecting plagiarism in graded essays. Honest students have absolutely nothing to worry about.
All students in this course are expected to use TurnItIn.com. If you do not want to use TurnItIn.com, you will need to provide other evidence that your essay is fully your own work. For example I would need to see a minimum of 2-3 sequential drafts of the essay as it was being researched and written, even for the first (smallest) essay.
