Getting help

In person

I strongly recommend talking to me directly. I'm warmer and fuzzier one-on-one than you might guess, and I welcome anyone interested in physics into my office at any time.

The simple reason why I emphasize personal contact is that I do by far the best job explaining, advising, etc. in person. I strive to provide as welcoming and respectful an atmosphere as possible:

THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A "STUPID QUESTION" INSIDE MY OFFICE!

Other means

Since I must handle all my email on my BlackBerry , please ensure that your message is

  • brief,
  • in ASCII (plain) text, and
  • without attachments.

Please use e-mail to me frugally.

Thank you in advance for your kind consideration .

Final thoughts

Please let me know if you've become frustrated with not being able to talk to me as much as you want. I will work to solve the problem. I aim to provide the best learning experience possible for you as a UofT student.
