How will your grade be determined?

Since this is a graduate course, both effort and initiative will be rewarded.

This course will be examined through three instruments:-

• Homeworks (graded; probably 3-4 assignments);
• Final exam (open book);
• Participation in class and office hours.

The percentage that these three instruments will count towards the final grade will be determined by the Prof. in discussion with the students, during the first day of class. Each of the three will count for at least 10%.

Note: Students must attend classes in order to pass the course. It will not be possible to "take the course electronically" by just reading the digitised lecture notes!
