PHY2406F: String Theory

Classes at UofT officially started on 9th September, so the first
course meeting was in the week of Labour Day. The first course
meeting was on Friday 10th September 2004 at
10am till noon in the Fields Institute. At the beginning I
discussed administrative details, and then I began the material with
an introduction to the course. I expected students to come to the
first lecture prepared to inhale some string theoretic content!
