Say hello

To do a better job of teaching a class, I like to know a few things about my students.

Please send me a hello from your official UofT student email address (the one Quercus uses), answering the following questions:-

  1. What name would you like me to call you? (e.g. Camille, Karamo, Sumiko, Ryan)
  2. What pronouns would you like me to use? (e.g. she/her, he/him, they/them)
  3. Do you have a non-university hobby that gives you joy? (e.g. bike rides along the lakeshore)
  4. Are you an undergrad or a grad student?
  5. What are you focusing on for your degree? (e.g. physics specialist, astronomy major, engineer, etc.)
  6. What sparked your interest in taking this course?
  7. Is there anything else you would like me to know?

Different people tend to write the Latin and Greek alphabets somewhat differently. To aid the TA and I in understanding your work, please print this, fill it out, scan/photograph it, and attach it to your Hello email. (If you do not have access to a printer, please handwrite all the Latin and Greek letters and scan/photograph it instead.)
