Why ap.io?
ap.io is an abbreviation, chosen to be very easy to remember. It stands for: Amanda Peet Input/Output.
A four-letter domain name is apparently the shortest an individual can buy. How did I snag one? I was lucky enough to get in on the ".io" namespace before it became cluttered. ".io" is naturally identifiable with "I/O", like for Drop.io. My initials are "AP". Hence, ap.io. Also, "apio" appears in a Google search only as part of the Latin/botanical name for celery. Harmless enough - and I like celery! :D
